About

As I have been born from the Pearl of the Orient Seas, Philippines, I gave this site a title from my own native language. Maharlika is a Filipino word which means – although erroneously defined as “royalty” – “freedman”, referring to myself, who was once a slave of my own sins.

This site is a place of devotions and meditations on the words stated in the good book – the Bible – in relation with my own life experiences. The articles written here are of my own personal thoughts which – I hope – would also help those who go through the same stories in life.

I dedicate this site to Jesus, who has paid for my freedom, to others who were once slaves and to those who continuously seek Him through His word.

God bless and to God be the glory!
